Pastoring can be difficult! Often the pastor finds himself physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. Ray's been there, and can help one find "life" again.
METHOD: establish trusted, confidential relationships.
Pastoring and leading in ministry can be a lonely calling. Seventy percent of pastors do not have one they would consider a "close friend," and twenty-seven percent of pastors have no one to turn to in time of a crises. Ray meets with pastors in person. online, and by phone. Everything shared is confidential.
HEART: free pastoral care, counseling, and mentoring
Because of faithful partners who support Ray in his ministry, he can offer mentoring, counseling, and guidance to a pastor or ministry leader without charge.
PASTOR TESTIMONY: When I started my first lead pastor role, I was green with new and exciting ideas for ministry. I was ready to preach great sermons and lead large Bible studies. But I quickly learned that I was way in over my head. Pastoring is a lot more about meeting people where they are and caring for them with both truth and love. And in that regard, I really had no clue how to shepherd a church. I was longing for guidance, and needed to be stewarded with wisdom. This pastor needed a pastor! That’s when I was lucky enough to have Bro. Ray recommended to me. I reached out to him, and within a few minutes we were setting up our first coffee meeting. From the very beginning, Bro. Ray was kind and gracious to hear all the questions I had in regard to ministry and life. He has answered every question with biblically sound, practical solutions. And every time we talk, my spirit is edified by his godly wisdom. It is evident that Bro. Ray leads a fruitful, personal relationship with Jesus that pours out into others, as he constantly reminds me to seek Christ first in all things.
